Your privacy is important to us. Your name, your email address, and any other information submitted to us is kept within the monastery.
|
Please submit a separate form for each person you wish to offer prayers for. Your name and intention will be posted in our book of prayers, however a first and last name must be given if your intentions are to be read at our community mass on Saturday. Your name will not be published on the Internet.
If you supply an email address, we will reply to your prayer request with a handsome email suitable for printing, or for forwarding to the person for whom you are asking prayers. Please submit only your own email address, and not that of the person for whom you are praying. Your email address is discarded from our computer as soon as we have replied to your request. If you do not wish to receive a reply from us, please leave the email part blank.
You may wish to include specific or personal information with your prayer request. Doing so gives the monks in our monastery more to pray over as your intentions are read. Such information stays within the monastery and is not posted outside of the cloister.
Please use upper and lower case letters, as is the norm in standard American English. This makes our job of transcribing this information easier, and makes the pages in our book of prayer more uniform and presentable. Please only use the forms on this website for requesting prayers. Request sent by email are not distributed to the liturgy office, and chain letters sent out to many people, or requesting a long list of intentions are discarded as spam.
All information submitted to us is discarded after these prayer intentions are fulfilled.
