This 1950s building houses the laundry, a nine-car garage, a shop for farm implements and the Abbey Pottery in a second floor studio. |
 |
Br. Llewellyn displays a selection of his work in the main work area of his studio after a recent kiln firing. More of his work may be seen in the Pottery section of our website.

The "Design Area" is a well used corner of the studio, and a comfortable place to offer coffe to the occasional guest or fellow potter.

A typical firing load from the Abbey Pottery's 45 cu. ft., gas-down/draught kiln. The handbuilt and wheelthrown stoneware and porcelains are fired to a cone 9-10 or around 2,300 degrees (F). The kiln was built in 1988 by Jasper Bond of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. |
