A NEW BOOK ON
SAINT BENEDICT

Fr. Terrence has recently come out with a new book called The Life of Saint Benedict by Gregory the Great. This volume, published by the Liturgical Press of Collegeville, MN, is a commentary on the second Dialogue written by Pope Gregory I in 593 AD.

The 180-page paperback volume contains a new translation of the Life of Benedict from Gregory’s Latin. It also includes a fairly detailed commentary on the contents. This story is one of the most precious items of the Benedictine heritage. It is available for $16.95 plus tax and postage from the Abbey Gift Shop.
