The Development Office of Assumption Abbey has a three-fold purpose:

1. To share our Benedictine way of life with people outside of the monastery. At the local level, this includes inviting people to our liturgies. For people who are not in our local area, we have our Partners-in-Prayer program, prayers for the souls of the faithful departed and other prayer responsibilities. In essence, we strive to inform and include people through our Benedictine monastic life and to help fulfill the mission of the Church.

2. To develop long-term relationships with people outside of the monastery through which they can be part of our prayer and life of ministry.

3. To raise funds for the continuing growth and vitality of Assumption Abbey. The Abbot and monks identify needs and the Development Office makes these available to donors and benefactors.

     

The monks in the Development Office will be happy to work with your in formulating a gift that works best for you (obviously, you will also want to include your financial advisors in the planning). This may include:

          1. Bequests
          2. Endowments
          3. Charitable Gift Annuities
          4. Life Insurance Policies
          5. Charitable Remainder Trusts
          6. Retained Life Estates.
